Nike Air Max Griffey 1 Grey/Teal Will Be Available @ Footlocker
We have just gotten the confirmation that the Nike Air Griffey Max 1 Grey/Teal will be available at Footlocker stores and on Footlocker.com. This should be good news to plenty of you as it was originally reported that the sneakers would be released as a Quickstrike on February 20th and would only be available at select distributors. Nike will be launching a new colorway of the much loved Air Foamposite One, one of the original Penny Hardaway signature shoes, and probably the first sneaker from Nike that carried a $200 price tag. This new colorway some have already nicknamed as the “Dirty Copper” Foamposite One, a nickname for pennies that are thrown on the ground in front of policemen. Rumor has it these will be a regular release, meaning they will not be limited to House of Hoops or other exclusive Nike accounts. Look for these to drop in the US in the Spring of 2010.
